Paradigm Features
-
Target Solicitations & Monitor Campaign Success
Enhance your ability to selectively target your solicitations and
maximize the rate and level of your response. Give your executive
directors and development staff immediate online access to campaign
status—without training them in Paradigm. The Campaign Overview
screen presents up-to-the-minute accounting of solicitations,
campaigns and funds within a file folder and index card interface, and
automatically calculates the cost-per-dollar raised and the net income
of a particular solicitation.
-
Customize & Create Screens for Viewing Data
Paradigm’s Custom View Utility allows you to create your own
screens (File Folders). You can create an unlimited number of Folder
Views and substitute your own folder views for the standard folders
provided.
-
Streamline Gift Processing
Gift processing features such as Match Potential and Pledge
Scheduling maximize efficiency and accuracy.
By setting default values for elements common to transactions in a
batch of gifts, you only have to enter unique values for any gift,
such as the gift amount.
Paradigm’s powerful reporting system allows you to:
-
Solicit donations
-
Verify the accuracy of gifts entered
-
Send acknowledgments to donors
-
Review financial goals
-
Compare performance to previous year or current
goals
-
Analyze response to direct mail
-
Plan future campaigns, and more!
-
Integrate Development With Other Programs
Accomplish more with fewer resources! Paradigm integrates
traditional fundraising with volunteer, membership, special events and
proposal tracking capabilities.
Many organizations depend on outreach strategies such as special
events or volunteer recruitment to establish visibility within their
community. Paradigm helps you manage these functions, maintaining a
single, centralized database to manage fundraising, process
memberships, track volunteer hours served and manage special events.
Paradigm also provides reports such as volunteer recognition, event
attendees, membership renewal letters and outstanding proposals.
-
A Complete Fundraising Solution—No Extra Modules
Required
Paradigm integrates many capabilities including Event, Membership
and Volunteer Management.
Paradigm allows you to record Honor/Memorial gifts and provide
notification to next of kin. Paradigm also comes complete with Quick
Print, Quick Mail Merge, Quick Email features, Web site hypertext
links, and constituent and gift import utilities. Moving information
from Paradigm to other PC applications like word processing,
spreadsheets and accounting is easy with standard custom export
utilities.
-
Fundraising Software for Windows
Paradigm is available for single-user and multi-user environments.
The number of user licenses you hold determines the exact number of
users that can access Paradigm concurrently. The Paradigm database may
be installed on a shared drive (Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP), on a
Windows server (Windows NT 4.0+ or 2000) or on a Novell NetWare 3.1+
server with a Local Area Network (LAN).
Services
-
Annual Support
MIP offers flexible training and support options designed
to help clients make the most of their software investment. Our product support personnel includes
technical support experts who are Microsoft certified or have similar qualifications. A monthly
newsletter and annual user conference are just a couple of the services we offer our clients to help them
take full advantage of the software.
-
Training
We recommend the two-day Basic Training for all Paradigm
users. These seminars are available in many locations and provide a basic introduction to Paradigm
that enables attendees to perform typical daily activities with the Paradigm database. For organizations
with three or more users, an onsite seminar may be the best solution. We also offer eLearning training
in Paradigm. eLearning is live, instructor-led training that you access via the Web from your own office.
Technology

Paradigm’s Client/Server Design
Paradigm is a Client/Server application composed of Sybase’s
Adaptive Server Anywhere 6.0 database engine and PowerBuilder front-end. The Adaptive Server
Anywhere database engine provides superior performance, flexibility and minimal ongoing database
management. Unlike other databases, Adaptive Server installs easily and requires almost no ongoing
maintenance. In server environments, portions of the application and
the database are loaded onto a server. Other components of Paradigm are installed on each individual
workstation.
